3 Walker Contemporary is pleased to welcome Literally Kittery into the gallery for a special two-month collaboration this March and April, bringing together independent bookselling and contemporary art in a shared creative experience.
This temporary pairing transforms the gallery into a space where literature and visual art coexist—inviting visitors to explore how storytelling unfolds across different mediums. Carefully curated selections from Literally Kittery will be presented alongside current gallery exhibitions, encouraging moments of discovery, reflection, and connection between written word and artistic expression.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting local creativity and fostering cultural gathering spaces within the Kittery Foreside community. By blending books and art within one environment, the gallery expands its role as both an exhibition space and a place for conversation, inspiration, and exchange.
Visitors are invited to browse books, experience artwork, and spend time exploring the dialogue between narrative and image throughout the spring season.
